We grow apples...more than 30 varieties! Please call us at 828-381-9271 or 828-632-6497 to find out what is currently ripe and available for picking. (**Note that we cannot guarantee availability of a particular variety each year due to pre-season weather conditions and other factors.) We offer a variety of apples to suit different tastes. Come to J&A Orchard and fill a bucket (or two!) with your favorite...or mix and match your apples until the bag is full! We provide buckets lined with convenient tie-top bags, as well as long-handled apple-pickers (no ladders necessary!). We regret that we cannot accept checks, debit cards or credit cards. The closest ATM is approximately 3 miles from the orchard at the intersection of Hwy. 127 and Hwy. 64-90. We also grow Asian pears as well as nectarines and several varieties of peaches (mid-July to early September). Call for availability! J & A Orchard will close for the season on Thursday, October 1st, 2009.
